  • Skating sessions last 35 minutes
  • Turnover time between sessions: 15 minutes
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked skating time to check in and get ready.
    Your booking time is the time you skate.

What to Wear

Although the rink is indoors, the space is not heated, so please dress for cool outdoor weather to stay comfortable while skating.

About the Rink

This event is hosted by Port of Milford Haven at our location and bookings are managed by us.
The ice rink and all operational aspects of the skating experience are supplied and operated by Ice Magic™ Synthetic Rinks.

  • This is a synthetic ice rink, offering a smooth skating experience without the chill of real ice. Surface may feel different from real ice; allow a few minutes to adjust.
  • Skates are provided for all participants.
  • Skating aids are available on a first come, first served basis to support younger or less confident skaters.

Quiet Session

Join us for a quiet skating session on Sunday 14 December 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:35 PM. This session is designed to offer a calmer environment, with reduced noise. Extra time is provided afterwards to allow a gentle and unhurried transition before the next session begins. Complimentary personal assistant tickets available with proof of eligibility.

Everything you need to know

Are skates provided?

Yes, skates are provided and are included in your ticket. Socks are required to use our skates.

What skate sizes are available?

There is a wide range of sizes suitable for most children and adults.

Will food and beverages be available to purchase on site?

No, there will be no food or beverage vendors on site during the ice skating sessions.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes! You’re very welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Are there places nearby where I can buy food or drinks?

Absolutely. There are several nearby cafés, restaurants, and food outlets where you can purchase food and beverages.

How many people can skate per session?

Up to 35 skaters per session.

What happens if I’m late?

Late arrivals may have less time on the rink. We cannot extend session times or guarantee entry after the first 10 minutes of a session start.

Can I get a refund or change my booking?

Tickets are non-refundable.

Is there photography at the event?

Personal photos are welcome, please be mindful of others. Official photography may take place; by entering, you consent to incidental inclusion. Speak to staff if you prefer not to be photographed.

Is there storage for bags?

Storage is limited. Please avoid bringing large bags. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.

What if the event is disrupted or paused?

As it’s indoors, sessions run in all weather. If we must pause a session for safety, we’ll offer a rebook or partial credit where possible.

Can I make a day of it?

Absolutely! Enjoy lunch or dinner at Milford Waterfront or go bowling at Phoenix Bowl nearby.

How to get to Sybil House?

Enter roundabout and take 2nd exit towards the retail park. Turn left before the petrol station and then immediately left again where you will find parking under the bridge. Sybil House is adjacent to Phoenix Bowl. View Map Here

Parking:

Where should I park?

The best place to park is the car park across from McDonald’s. Other nearby options (all a short walk away) include:

  • Under the bridge

  • Cedar Court car park

  • Limited parking across from Phoenix Bowl

Is there disabled parking available?

Yes disabled parking is located across the road at Phoenix Bowl.

Are there any places I shouldn’t park?

Please do not park:

  • On double yellow lines

  • In cross-hatched areas

  • In spots where signage prohibits parking

Please check all parking signage in the area before leaving your car to avoid fines or disruption.

Acceptable proofs for personal assistant tickets:

Disability Living Allowance, Carers/Attendance Allowance, Letter from a medical professional, HYNT Card, Blue Badge, Nimbus Card

Rink Rules

All the important information

  • If you have a medical condition or pre-existing medical condition that could be affected by skating, you should not use this equipment.
  • Anyone with or who has had a neck/back/knee/joint/ankle issues or anyone who is pregnant or anyone who is intoxicated must NOT USE the rink.
  • All users of the Skating Rink skate at their own risk. Falling over is highly likely unless you can skate! Even then, you might fall! Skating aides are available but are not guaranteed.
  • Be aware of your limits and do not exceed them.
  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Only skaters are allowed on the rink.
  • Do not put your skates on until you are inside your seat.
  • Skates must be worn only on rubber matted areas and on the skating surface.
  • Do not handle the skates by the blade.
  • Ensure that your skate clips are tight and your boot is offering good support to your ankle.
  • Socks MUST be worn.
  • Remove any loose items that could cause a hazard.
  • Please do NOT sit or climb over the skating rink barriers.
  • Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction around the rink.
  • Do not skate across the middle.
  • Do not go back against the flow of skaters.
  • No smoking, alcohol, food or drink within the rink site.
  • Do not use mobile phones or cameras on the rink.
  • If you notice any dangerous behaviour or someone not complying with rink rules, notify a rink steward immediately.
  • Abusive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from the rink.
  • If you are hurt or see anyone injured, notify a steward immediately.
  • Rink staff are provided for your safety and you must follow their instructions at all times.
  • Items left at the skate counter are left at the owner’s risk.
  • No element of competition involving speed/timed events/human chains is permitted.

Please Note: Skating is a sport with inherent risks and Patrons skate at their own risk.

Injuries include, but are not limited to – fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains.
