Important Note:
This event is hosted by Port of Milford Haven at our location and bookings are managed by us.
The ice rink and all operational aspects of the skating experience are supplied and operated by Ice Magic™ Synthetic Rinks.
By purchasing a ticket and participating in ice skating or any related activities at MHPA, you acknowledge and accept that ice skating is a physically active and potentially hazardous activity that carries a risk of injury. You agree to participate at your own risk, and MHPA, its employees, and partners accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, or damage sustained, except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. MHPA shall not be liable for any loss or damage other than death or personal injury arising from MHPA's negligence.
1) About the Event
- The rink is indoors in the Atrium at Sybil House and uses synthetic ice (not real ice).
- The venue is not heated. Please dress for cool outdoor weather.
- Sessions are 35 minutes of skating, with 15 minutes turnover. Your booked time is your skating time.
- Capacity: up to 35 skaters per session.
- We operate quiet friendly sessions with a calmer environment and a short buffer at the end for a quieter changeover.
- The event will be taking place on 12th-14th December 2025.
2) Ticketing, Proof & Entry
- Advance booking is recommended; walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.
- You must arrive 15 minutes before your session for check‑in and fitting. Late arrival may reduce your skating time.
- Bring your e-ticket (printed or on a phone). We may request proof of age/eligibility for concessions or carer tickets.
- Personal Assistance tickets require proof of eligibility (e.g., valid disability or carer documentation).
- Tickets are non-transferable except as outlined in Section 9.
- The ticket price Young Child (Age 3-8) £6, Child (Age 9-15) £7, Adult (Age 16+) £7.50. Tickets are issued by Ticket Tailor only. If there are any issues with booking your tickets please contact marketing@mhpa.co.uk.
3) Age, Supervision & Skater Responsibilities
- Minimum age: 3+
- Supervision: Under 8s must be accompanied on the rink by an adult (16+)
- You skate at your own risk. Skating involves slips, trips and falls. By entering the rink area, you accept these inherent risks.
- You must follow marshal instructions at all times. We may remove any person who poses a safety risk or disregards instructions (no refund).
4) Equipment, Clothing & Skating Aids
- Skates are provided (socks required).
- Wear gloves, long sleeves, and secure clothing. No loose scarves, dangling accessories, or open drinks on the rink.
- Skating aids are available on a first come, first served basis.
- The synthetic surface can feel different to real ice. Allow time to adjust and skate considerately
- Skates – these will be handed to the customers at the skate exchange counter. It is the responsibility of the individual skating to ensure the boots are correctly fitted prior to entering the ice rink.
5) Accessibility & Inclusive Sessions
- We offer a quiet friendly session with reduced noise/crowd levels and extra changeover time.
- Access to the venue is on the ground floor with a fully accessible toilet.
- Baby changing facilities onsite.
6) Health & Safety
- Do not skate if you feel unwell, are under the influence of alcohol/drugs, or if a medical professional has advised against similar activity.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or for anyone with conditions that could be aggravated by falls.
- No food or drink on the rink. No mobile phone use while skating.
- First aiders are on site. In an emergency, follow staff directions.
- No smoking indoors - smoking will lead to removal without a refund and that this includes the use of electronic smoking substitutes.

7) Personal Belongings
- Storage is limited. Please avoid large bags.
- MHPA accepts no responsibility for damage, loss or theft of any personal property that occurs whilst ticket holders are enjoying the Ice Rink or any part of the site or in any part of the event site, structures or surrounding areas.
8) Photography, Filming & Media
- Official photography/filming may take place. By entering, you consent to incidental inclusion in event imagery used for marketing and safety purposes.
- If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform a staff member and we will do our best to accommodate.
9) Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
- MHPA reserves the right to cancel or suspend a skating session at any time on the grounds of public safety.
- All tickets are non‑refundable and non-exchangeable. No refund, credit, or exchange will be provided for refusal of entry, removal, late arrival, missed sessions, invalid tickets, booking errors, or lost/stolen tickets.
- If we cancel or materially change your session (e.g., safety closure), we will offer a rebook or credit. Our liability is limited to the ticket amount paid.
- MHPA are not liable for any additional costs or expenses you may incur in respect of a postponed or re-scheduled event - including, but not limited to, hotel or travel expenses.
10) Late Arrival, No‑Shows & Reduced Time
- If you arrive late, your time on the rink may be reduced.
- We do not extend session times or guarantee entry more than 10 minutes after the start time.
- No-shows are treated as used tickets (no refund/credit).
11) Conduct & Exclusions
- Be considerate. No aggressive skating, chain skating, or high‑speed weaving.
- Follow the skating direction, obey signage and marshal instructions.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any guest for safety, intoxication, or abusive behaviour, without refund.
12) Data Protection (UK GDPR)
- We process personal data to manage bookings, safety, and (if opted in) marketing.

13) Lost Property
- Items found are held for 30 days. Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of. Perishable items are discarded daily.
- Sharp or hazardous items will not be retained
14) Complaints & Feedback
- Please speak to a supervisor on site so we can resolve issues promptly.
- You can also contact us after your visit at marketing@mhpa.co.uk with your booking reference and details.
15) Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking applies to your purchase; material operational changes will be communicated on site or by email where appropriate.
RINK RULES

If you have a medical condition or pre-existing medical condition that could be affected by skating, you should not use this equipment.

Anyone with or who has had a neck/back/knee/joint/ankle issues or anyone who is pregnant or anyone who is intoxicated must NOT USE the rink.

All users of the Skating Rink skate at their own risk. Falling over is highly likely unless you can skate! Even then, you might fall! Skating aides are available but are not guaranteed.

Be aware of your limits and do not exceed them.

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Only skaters are allowed on the rink.

Do not put your skates on until you are inside your seat.

Skates must be worn only on rubber matted areas and on the skating surface.

Do not handle the skates by the blade.

Ensure that your skate clips are tight and your boot is offering good support to your ankle.

Socks MUST be worn.

Remove any loose items that could cause a hazard.

Please do NOT sit or climb over the skating rink barriers.

Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction around the rink.

Do not skate across the middle.

Do not go back against the flow of skaters.

No smoking, alcohol, food or drink within the rink site.

Do not use mobile phones or cameras on the rink.

If you notice any dangerous behaviour or someone not complying with rink rules, notify a rink steward immediately.

Abusive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from the rink.

If you are hurt or see anyone injured, notify a steward immediately.

Rink staff are provided for your safety and you must follow their instructions at all times.

Items left at the skate counter are left at the owner’s risk.

No element of competition involving speed/timed events/human chains is permitted.
Please Note: Skating is a sport with inherent risks and Patrons skate at their own risk.
Injuries include, but are not limited to – fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains.
