What a difference a year makes. This time last year, Tŷ Milford Waterfront was a building site, fenced off to hide the hive of carefully planned activity taking place behind the scenes. We were all eager to imagine what it would be like when it was open, and when it did on 8th April, on time and on budget thanks to the Port of Milford Haven’s Projects Team and Welsh contractor, Carter Lauren Construction, it surpassed all expectations. Now, it’s like it’s always been here, and being beautifully decorated for Christmas, the sparkle adds a golden glow at the entrance to Milford Waterfront.

The vibe and welcome are what you would expect from a 4 star hotel, with a constant hustle and bustle of guests checking in and out, diners enjoying the finest Pembrokeshire produce in dulse restaurant, and the local community calling in for coffees and catch ups with friends, or even enjoying sunsets in the bar with a glass of something sparkling.

Operating this hotel on behalf of the Port of Milford Haven, the Celtic Collection have immersed themselves in the local community. Both the General Manager and Executive Head Chef are both from Pembrokeshire originally, so the passion for our county with a team of locally based staff provides a warm welcome to guests from all over the world to our corner of Wales. Where better to stay to enjoy all that Milford Haven and Pembrokeshire have to offer?

We captured the progress from September 2020 right through to April 2022, with the help of Mother Goose Productions. We hope you enjoy our feature length story of the build of Tŷ Milford Waterfront.
