Thousands attend Milford Haven fireworks night

Thousands of people enjoyed the annual firework display at Milford Waterfront, which was organised by Milford Haven Round Table. Thanks to sponsorship from Milford Haven Town Council and the Port of Milford Haven and money raised at the Beer Festival in July, the event was free to attend.

Fun for all the family was on offer with rides from Holmes Funfair, Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners and Gabrielle Swales face painting. Music was provided by Pure West Radio, with many acts performing live including Toby Ellis and DJ Dowsy, Kelly Williams School of Dance, and Jon Britton, who won a competition to perform a rap song that he wrote for his autistic son that went viral.

Ellis Thorne, Chairman from Milford Haven Round Table commented: “We want to thank everyone who came out and enjoyed this event with us! We are already looking forward to what we can bring to you next year. See you at the Beer Festival at the Waterfront in 2020!”

They have once again delivered an incredible event for Milford Haven. It was also great to see so many of the businesses at the Waterfront getting involved – we felt a very strong community spirit at the event.”
