Our cruises are ideal for anyone who would like to see the many thousands of birds that migrate to the area during the autumn and winter months.
Suitable for beginners and beneficial to experts, you’ll discover and learn about the species, habitat and behaviours of the birds along the River Cleddau in West Wales, Pembrokeshire.
The cruise departs from inside Milford Marina and heads up the River Cleddau as far as Picton Point where we hope to see birds such as the Golden Plover, Black-tailed Godwit, Lapwing, Canadian Geese, Redshank, Little Egret, Bar-tailed Godwit, Oystercatcher, Grey Heron, Cormorant and Herring Gulls to name but a few.
These cruises are an excellent way of enjoying the stunning winter scenery alongside experiencing the many types of birds who choose to make the River Cleddau their home for the winter.
Price is £40 per person and includes a tea or coffee drink during the cruise.
Our rib is undercover and seats 11 passengers with an onboard toilet facility. There will be an opportunity to stand on the external viewing deck to take photographs of the birds.
We only have a limited number of binoculars, so we recommend passengers bring their own where possible. Please note passengers are responsible for their own binoculars and camera equipment for the duration of the trip. Due to the length and nature of these cruises, we don’t recommend them for young children. The cruises are approximately 3 hours long but please be aware that this may vary.
