Enjoy an outdoor cinema screening of The Greatest Showman with the Torch Theatre at Milford Waterfront on Friday 21st August!
The Greatest Showman (2017) is a musical drama film inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman), a poor but ambitious man who dreams of creating something extraordinary. After losing his job, Barnum starts a unique entertainment show featuring people who are considered “different” by society such as a bearded lady, a trapeze artist, and others with unusual talents or appearances. The show becomes a major success, but as Barnum chases fame and high society, he begins to neglect his family and the people who helped build his success. Eventually, he learns important lessons about what truly matters and staying true to oneself.
Head down to Mackerel Quay from 6:30pm and don’t forget to bring a chair and a blanket. The film will begin at 7:00pm.
