Our Winter Bird Watching Cruise runs regularly during February and March.
Daily wildlife boat trips and family friendly fishing trips run from April to September.
All aboard for salt-soaked adventures with the Coast & Cleddau crew on our covered rib, Discovery!
Discover Coast and Cleddau Boat Trips are the perfect way to discover the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast.
Our Wildlife Boat Trips depart from Milford Haven every day between April and September at 11am. The boat trip gives passengers the chance to spot seasonal wildlife such as puffins, dolphins and porpoises on a trip around Skomer Island, or seals and shelducks on an up-river cruise to Lawrenny. The route of the trip will depend on weather conditions on the day, but whether you venture out to sea on a guided tour past St Ann's Head and beyond to explore the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire coastline, or up River Cleddau to take in the tranquillity of Lawrenny, you’ll be assured of a memorable experience. Remember to bring your camera, as there will be opportunities to photograph wildlife and the beautiful coastline on your trip. Binoculars are also available to use on board. Tickets are £30 each and trips last approximately 2 hours.
Our Family Friendly Fishing Trips are scheduled regularly on the Milford Haven Waterway throughout spring and summer and are suitable for the whole family, from complete beginners to experienced fishermen, making a great family experience. We supply all fishing equipment and will take you to the best local spots. We'll show you how to land your fish, and provide information on how to prepare your fish once you’ve got it home. You can keep what you catch but we ask that you bring a bag or bucket to take your catch home. You may also get to see some local wildlife on your trip! Tickets are £25 each and trips last approximately 2 hours.
Our 3 hour special Winter Bird Watching Cruise is running throughout February and March! The cruise is ideal for seeing the many thousands of birds that migrate to the area during the winter months and includes commentary provided by our trained crew on board our rib, Discovery. Suitable for beginners and beneficial to experts, you’ll discover and learn about the species, habitat and behaviours of the birds along the River Cleddau in West Wales, Pembrokeshire. The cruise departs from inside Milford Marina and heads up the River Cleddau as far as Picton Point where we hope to see birds such as the Golden Plover, Black-tailed Godwit, Lapwing, Canadian Geese, Redshank, Little Egret, Bar-tailed Godwit, Oystercatcher, Grey Heron, Cormorant and Herring Gulls to name but a few. Tickets are £40 per person and includes a tea or coffee drink during the cruise.
Our trips are suitable for ages 5 and over and operate from our undercover heated rib 'Discovery' which also has a toilet on-board. Plus there’s free parking surrounding Milford Waterfront along with plenty of shops, restaurants and other things to do to enjoy a whole day out.
We also offer Guided Walking Tours and run specialist trips aboard Discovery throughout the year so check out what’s on, follow us on social media or sign up for newsletter to get the latest news from Discover Coast & Cleddau!

We work closely with our friends at Dale Sailing so we'd encourage you to see if they can provide you with an alternative boat trip from Milford Haven when we don't have trips available.
*Please review our full terms and conditions and call 01646 696370 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries before you book. We will try to accommodate all requests and passenger requirements, but please contact us in advance if you or any of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect you whilst on a boat trip. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate wheelchair users or dogs (except for assistance dogs). In order to provide boat trips seven days a week, from time to time we may utilise an alternative boat in order to deliver the advertised trips. If this is the case, the name of the alternative boat will be displayed on the booking system.
