This year, Summer Fest is making a vibrant return to Milford Waterfront, packed with events and experiences designed for those ready to try something new, soak up the atmosphere, and create lasting memories.

 1. Make it Milford Mondays 
 

Summer Mondays are anything but boring when you start them at Milford Haven Museum. Thanks to Milford Waterfront, entry is free every week throughout the school holidays. Step back in time and discover the stories that shaped this town, from its fishing and maritime heritage to tales of the dockyard days. 

 

2. Try something new with Family Fridays 

 
If you’re after a little adventure, head to Milford Beach Activity Centre for free kayaking taster sessions* every Friday. These family-friendly sessions are led by qualified instructors and open to up to 12 participants each session, complimentary of Milford Waterfront 

*Age restrictions apply, availability is on a first come first served basis. Maximum of two sessions per day.  

 

3. Explore the Summer Fest Trail 

 
If you’ve got little ones who love a challenge (or adults who are still young at heart), our Summer Fest trail is a must. Follow the clues, fill in the form, and get the whole family moving and discovering together. 

Not only is it a fun way to explore Milford Waterfront, there’s also a prize up for grabs for those who complete the trail! 

 

4. Make it a ‘Weekend-er’ to remember 

 
August is looking lively with the return of the Milford Waterfront Weekender, taking place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August 2025.  

This three-day celebration is bringing the buzz to Mackerel Quay with a mouth-watering mix of street food from Pembrokeshire and Southwest Wales, talented local craft traders, refreshing drinks from the bar, and live music that’ll have your toes tapping all the way to sunset.  

Entry is free, so just bring your friends and family! 

 

5. Picnic perfection 

 
Our new picnic benches are scattered around the area, giving you plenty of spots to spread out your homemade snacks or treats picked up from local cafes.  

 

Whether it’s a family outing or a laid-back catch-up with friends, there’s no better place to enjoy good food while soaking up the sunshine and stunning Waterfront views. 

 

6. Taste the Waterfront
