We regularly feature the people behind the businesses at Milford Waterfront. We speak to everyone from artists and chefs to personal trainers to learn about their special skills and talents, their favourite dishes/items for sale, what they enjoy most about working at Milford Waterfront and lots more!

This month we speak to Juliana Morgans, the Founder of Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic which opened just a few months ago back in August. They share their premises with Milford Haven Chiropractic Clinic so that they can cater for any muscular and skeletal problems you may be experiencing.

What is the best thing about working at Milford Waterfront?

It’s just a great place to work as you are surrounded by a wide range of businesses, so not only do our customers have a variety of things to do, but I have everything on my doorstep too. Whether I want to grab a coffee, have some lunch, do a bit of shopping or have my hair or nails done, Milford Waterfront has it all. I feel that it has become the heart of Milford Haven and I love that my business is situated here.

Is there anything people should know about Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic that they may not know?

At Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic, we pride ourselves on ‘being more than a massage’ and that has formed the basis of everything we do, from free stretch plans and follow up care to loyalty cards. As part of this, we have also set up a partners programme, comprising of businesses that complement or add value to our services. Our current list of business partners include S7 Fitness, Peter Lloyd Triathlon Coaching and Hannah Louise Pilates. We are delighted to offer all members of these businesses a discount at Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic.

Have you got any special skills or talents?

Hmm….I wouldn’t say I’m a very naturally talented person! However, I am a keen triathlete and completed Ironman Wales in 2018, so I suppose that has to be a little bit of a skill maybe….or just more hard work 😊

What is your favourite item at Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic and why?

We currently only specialise in sports massage therapy, however we do offer a number of tailored packages and so far it has to be the Ironman Wales package. We have pulled a package together which comprises of over 17 massages, which means our athletes are in with us every month. Although we are only 3 months in to the 12 month programme, we are already making huge gains in terms of mobility and I am so excited to see how well our Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic team do at Ironman Wales in 2021.

What has been your favourite day at work and why?

Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic has only been open since August so we know we have lots of memories to make and good times to come. However, a few weeks back we were honoured to be invited to Monkton Priory School to give a talk on the importance of stretching to the lovely pupils in Year 5 and 6. It was a delight to have over 60 children, smiling, performing stretches and enjoying. It definitely is a great memory already.
