Christmas parties as we know them may be off the cards this year, but in line with current Welsh Government guidance you can meet as a group of four at a café or restaurant.

We are proud to be the home of a growing list of cafés and restaurants here at Milford Waterfront. There’s such a great choice and what makes it so special is that they all complement each other and bring something different to the area.

Most of the restaurants have now shared their Christmas menus and they all sound absolutely delicious. We think we may just have to make our way around them all!

Here are just some of the options available:

Enjoy a yuletide feast with a touch of vintage flair at Milford Waterfront’s newest restaurant, Madison’s Bar and Restaurant. For just £21.95 for 2 courses, or £26.95 for 3 courses, the ‘Opening Act’ includes roasted tomato and thyme soup, Bloody Mary prawn cocktail, smoked mackerel pâté or wild mushroom pâté. For the ‘Main Event’, tuck into slow roasted sirloin of beef or roast turkey with all the trimmings, vegan chickpea and sweet potato loaf with a red wine jus or pan seared salmon with tarragon sauce. The ‘Final Curtain’ features Christmas pudding and brandy sauce, deconstructed tiramisu espresso ice cream or a chocolate orange pot with Chantilly cream. A free filter coffee is offered with each dessert.

Get into the Christmas spirit at COCO’s Restaurant with a 3 course meal for £30 per head. Start with crispy pork belly, chicken Caesar bon bons, garlic, leek and tarragon mushrooms or roasted cauliflower soup, followed by Pembrokeshire turkey, pan-fried market fish or mushroom wellington and a choice of sticky toffee pudding, cherry and pistachio crumble or salted caramel brownie for dessert.

Over at Foam, you’ll enjoy a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival and a 3 course meal for £29.99 per person. Choose from gin and juniper salmon gravlax, spiced parsnip soup, potted pork with toasted ciabatta or stuffed chestnut mushrooms to start and beef wellington, roast turkey crown, salmon and veg pappiote or vegan wellington for mains. Tuck into cinnamon chocolate fondant, gingerbread custard crème brûlée, Christmas pudding or vegan chocolate torte.

The Lounge are also serving up a 3 course meal for £29.99 with a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival. Start with Atlantic prawns, cauliflower and celeriac soup, chicken and cranberry bon bons or loaded flat mushrooms. For the main course you can choose from roast topside of beef or crown of turkey, Parma ham wrapped hake fillet or vegan wellington and a choice of Bucks Fizz cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, vegan chocolate torte or Christmas pudding.

At Martha’s Vineyard you’ll enjoy festive specials all individually priced with main courses ranging from £13 to £16 and featuring confit duck leg, pan-fried salmon, the big bird and a festive kebab. To start, you can choose from baked camembert or French onion soup with a melting chocolate bombe, Christmas pudding, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, crème brûlée or a Welsh cheese board all available for dessert.

The Harbourmaster are doing things differently this year and offering two different menus. Choose their set menu and enjoy 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £23.50. Start with a Christmas sausage roll, garlic mushroom bruschetta, charred chorizo, brie wedges or blackened cod taco’s and tuck into fresh roasted turkey breast, 48 hour slow roasted topside of beef, vegan sausage roll or salmon en croute for your main course. Finish off with Lotus Biscoff fondant, Belgian waffle, Harbs brownie, Baileys and chocolate trifle or chocolate orange tart for dessert. Or, opt for their grazing menu, perfect for sharing or a light bite. Their grazing deal for 2 people is priced at £40 and includes 6 grazing dishes and either a bottle of house wine, 4 draught pints or 2 cocktails.

And, that’s not all! Talouies are serving up a festive ciabatta stuffed with turkey, sausage/sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce, and the Crow’s Nest Café have got festive chips on the menu!

Over at The Galley Café you can enjoy a Christmas dinner every Wednesday for just £6.50 – sit-in, takeaway or have it delivered to your door. If you don’t fancy cooking on the day itself, then the Spinnaker Café will do all of the hard work for you with an eat-in or delivery option.

Now, if you’ve read all that and not picked up the phone to book your table, then we think there must be something wrong! They all sound tremendously delicious and we’re sure there will be lots of festive cocktails featured on the menus too.

Don’t forget to follow Milford Waterfront on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – we’ll be sharing the latest from the businesses, chances to win some prizes before Christmas and some festive fun for the whole family!
