Each month we will be giving you the chance to find out about the people behind the businesses at Milford Waterfront. We'll be speaking to everyone from artists and chefs to personal trainers to learn about their special skills and talents, their favourite dishes/items for sale, what they enjoy most about working at Milford Waterfront and lots more!
What is the best thing about working at Milford Waterfront?
Taking people out on the water and seeing their excitement and enjoyment at seeing the wildlife and beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire. And, of course the fact that I get to work on the water every day.
Is there anything people should know about Discover Coast & Cleddau that they may not know?
We’ve recently started offering a boat and guided walking tour package to Dale and Lawrenny. Customers board the boat at the Mackerel Stage at Milford Waterfront and take a short trip before the start of the guided walk. There’s an option to have lunch at COCO’s Brasserie in Dale, or to enjoy some free time exploring the area before returning to Milford Waterfront by 3pm. There’s an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna throughout the year and walking is the best way to get up close to this amazing wildlife!
Have you got any special skills or talents?
One of my passions is scuba diving and I hold both PADI and BSAC diving instructor qualifications. I worked on the support team for the Red Bull Cliff Diving when they came to the Blue Lagoon in Abereiddy and it was great fun.
