Busy Cruise Season Ahead at Milford Waterfront

The Port of Milford Haven is expecting a busy cruise season with three calls expected this month bringing over 1,000 passengers to the area, and a further six calls planned between July and September.

The first ship, ‘MS Albatros’, is a stylish German cruise ship and is notable for her bright turquoise funnel rising above the white ship. She left the port of Bremerhaven in Germany for a cruise around Britain and arrives at Milford Haven today (10th May). She should be anchored at Milford Shelf, just outside Milford Marina, from around 11.30am until 8pm. Her next port of call after Milford Haven is Dublin.

The team at Milford Waterfront, including port staff, local businesses and entertainers will be on the quayside to extend a warm Welsh welcome as visitors come ashore.

Later this week, on 13th May, ‘Silver Cloud’ will call at Pembroke Port and shortly after that, on 20th May, ‘MV Seabourn Quest’ will call into Milford Haven. Seabourn Quest is a luxury cruise ship offering award-winning dining experiences and high end décor. She arrives into Milford Haven as part of a 15-day tour of the British Isles and Iceland.

For passengers choosing to stay in Milford Haven, there is an expanding range of things to do. From a visit to Milford Haven Museum, a bite to eat at one of Milford Waterfront’s many cafes and restaurants or a spot of retail therapy along the promenade and in the town centre.

The Milford Waterfront team will be on hand to answer any queries our visitors might have but please join us in offering them a warm welcome to Milford Haven.
