From Viking harbour to whaling town, fishing port to national energy hub, Milford Haven has evolved from its industrial roots into a must-visit attraction for locals and visitors to Pembrokeshire.

With Milford Marina front and centre, Milford Waterfront is a great destination; lined with cafes and restaurants ready to serve you a true taste of our county; shops and galleries selling local works of art and crafts, and the latest fashions; a healthy selection of beauty and wellbeing businesses to look after your mind, body and soul; and delicious handmade chocolates and locally landed fish which you can buy to take home and enjoy (or sample in one of the restaurants!).

There's a range of things to do including bowling, a trip to Milford Haven Museum to learn about our fascinating heritage and various walks around Milford Haven for all abilities including our heritage walking trails.

If you're looking to stay by the sea, we've got a great selection of places to stay with marina and waterway views. Choose from luxury apartments, floating hotel rooms in our Floatel Cabins or enjoy hotel accommodation at the new Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront.

Milford Waterfront has a calendar of events and activities through the year, which attract visitors from far and wide. From the jaw-dropping annual fireworks display organised by Milford Haven Round Table, to food festivals and kids’ events through the school holidays, local businesses and our team ensure that we’ve always got something to surprise and delight our guests.

With big ambitions for the future, our vibrant multi-million pound Milford Waterfront Development will ensure that we continue to provide visitors who travel here by land and sea with a great experience, whether visiting for an hour, a day, or a week. Over the coming years our flagship marina and waterfront facilities will continue to evolve with the addition of hotels, event spaces, cultural hubs and fine dining restaurants. These will complement our existing offer and provide additional facilities to celebrate the arts, culture and heritage of the area.

Under the leadership of the Port of Milford Haven, we’ve already completed a number of flagship projects including the installation of new, state of the art lock gates that keep water-based traffic moving in and out of our marina; the new-build Costa Coffee Drive Thru officially opened on St David's Day 2019; the one-of-a-kind Floatel Cabins offering luxury glamping in floating hotel rooms received their first guests in 2019; and the newly-constructed Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront opened in April 2022.

We hope you’ll visit us as we continue to transform, and explore our history, legends and the landscapes of Pembrokeshire.
